Traveling – Home – Belonging
Home is a source of personal meaning.
And growing up as a constant traveler around the globe, my self-identity seems missing somewhere out there as my home place shifts from one place to another.
The research of the unknown home has then begun.
I start to collect daily used materials such as kitchen waste and household packaging, as they are part of my life trace that I can keep records from.
The entanglement between materials expresses the complicated situation of being an outsider no matter in which country I am currently in.
Hopefully, my place of belonging can be found within this on-going project.
