The two textile pieces aim to explore questions about the masculine body in relation to itself and others. With the use of textile printing, dying and sewing they discuss touch, sexuality, self-image, sex, and authenticity.
The project has worked as a journal and a way to air out thoughts on the subject matter of the masculine body. Gradually introducing new prints, colours, and fabrics. Establishing new thoughts and ideas, adding to and covering up what was there before. Building a discussion with myself and the viewer. I want to talk to you about the male body.
